Overall dimensions: Ø 16 cm, H 12 cm Teapot opening: Ø 9 cm
Details: A midcentury teapot in a matte finish by Arabia Finland, from the Ruska Series. Designed by Ulla Procopé in 1962.
Ruska translated in English means Autumn Colors. Ruska series has a smooth smoky dark brown matte glaze which was sprayed with powdered black iron during the glazing process. Edges appear worn showing a lighter copper color peeking through. Each piece is slightly different in effect and color giving this style a unique artisanal look. They are united by their smoky changing colors and worn edges. No two are identical.
Very good vintage condition.
